Lets started to learn how to insert a watermark into Excel. Excel function does not include a real water mark, but you can insert an image file in a header or footer to approach a visible watermark.
In the visible watermark, information is usually text or a logo which identifies the owner of the mark or media somehow.
In the above image, an image file that contains the word project is inserted into the head of an Excel spreadsheet.
Headers and footers are usually displayed on each page of the book, this method of tattoo is an easy way to ensure that is present on every page of a logo or other necessary information.

The following example describes the steps in Excel should insert an image into a header and place it in the middle of a blank worksheet.
This tutorial does not include the necessary steps to create the image file itself.
An image file containing the word Draft or similar text can be created in any paint program like Paint program that comes with the operating system Microsoft Windows.

Headers and footers are added to a spreadsheet in Layout mode.
Up to three headers and footers can be adding three to a page using the boxes header and footer are visible in Layout mode.
By default, the header central box is selected - this is where the image watermark is inserted in this tutorial.

1 Click the Insert tab of the ribbon
2 Click the Header and Footer icon on the right end of the tape
3 When you click the switch to Excel page for design icon and opens a new tab at the top of the tape and footers called Tools
4 In the new tab, click the image icon to open the Insert Picture dialog box
5 In the Browse dialog box to find the image file that is inserted into the header
6 Click the image file to select
7 Click the Insert button to insert the image and close the dialog

9 Click any cell in the worksheet to leave the area of the headbox
10- Image of water 10 should appear on the top of the spreadsheet
Return to normal view
Once you have added the watermark, Excel allows you to view the layout. Although it is possible to work in this view, you may want to return to normal view. To do this:
Click on any cell of the sheet out of the header area.
Click the View tab
Click the icon to normal tape
